Decades before he’d knock down crucial jump shots in the NCAA championship game and compete with fellow Tar Heels alumnus Vince Carter at Kings training camp, Justin Jackson began honing his shooting mechanics on a plastic hoop inside his parents’ Houston house. And long before Roy Williams at UNC, it was his mother and father who served as his first coaches.
