North Carolina upsets Pitt, 34-31

Even as the Tar Heels are headed for their worst football season in almost 30 years, they still refuse to lose to Pitt. The Panthers couldn’t finish off their second-half comeback, haunted by the early hole they dug for themselves on Thursday night under the lights, and remained winless against UNC since joining the ACC with a 34-31 defeat at Heinz Field.
