Paschal making most of his 2nd chance

Charlotte Latin alumnus Mark Paschal stepped on the practice field as the starter at middle linebacker for North Carolina, in a remarkable turn of events after a shaky beginning. After a brush with the law in July of 2005, Paschal was grateful coach John Bunting allowed him to remain on the team as a freshman. He played just special teams last season, then rocketed to the top of the depth chart with an excellent spring practice.
