UNC Runs Past Northern Iowa in Season Opener

No. 9 North Carolina rolled past Northern Iowa, 86-69, in Friday’s season opener despite two projected starters being sidelined due to injury. Junior forward Luke Maye led all scorers with a career-high 26 points on 11-of-16 shooting and grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds, while Garrison Brooks and Kenny Williams added 14 and 10 points, respectively.
