Houston basketball player suspended 1 game by NCAA for playing in church league

University of Houston guard Rob Gray has been suspended one game by the NCAA and will miss Friday night's season opener against McNeese State. Gray, one of the nation's top returning scorers, participated in a church recreation league game this offseason, which is a violation of NCAA rules. Gray is eligible for the Cougars' next game Nov. 17, part of the Paradise Jam tournament.
