Garrison Brooks Calm, Focused in UNC Debut

Throughout the preseason, freshman big man Garrison Brooks has rebounded, run the floor, and been in position on defense. That consistency earned Brooks a starting spot on Friday for the Tar Heels' opener against Northern Iowa. The Alabama native put together a solid performance -- 14 points and six rebounds on 5-for-6 shooting. He was 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
