Texans QB T.J. Yates appreciates the practice snaps

As the Houston Texans' backup quarterback, T.J. Yates is always striving to stay sharp. Running the scout team doesn't exactly do the trick, though. Yates has been taking some snaps with the first-team offense behind starter Tom Savage this week. "You have to be ready. That's kind of the life of a quarterback in this league if you're not a starting guy," Yates said.
