Six freshmen not practicing


Six incoming North Carolina freshmen did not report to campus on Thursday in anticipation of practice, which will begin this afternoon, a team spokesman said. Defensive linemen from Maryland and and from East Wake, Asheville running back , and Fayetteville linebacker have not yet cleared the NCAA clearinghouse, and won't be allowed to practice until they do.
