High hopes for Tar Heels

College football is just around the corner. This is going to be an exciting time in Chapel Hill, too. Thanks to the good fortunate of fate, I happen to run into the mother of one of Carolina's current football players on July 4. She told me how much the players truly love coach Butch Davis and his staff. We've speculated on this phenomenon since early in Davis' tenure, but to get validation from a parent is always nice.
