Two Tar Heels To Play In U.S. Amateur Women's Amateur


Katie Miller and Lauren Hunt, both members of the UNC women's golf team, will be among the 156 participants at the 2006 U.S. Women's Amateur which begins Monday at the Witch Hollow Course at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Ore. Miller, a rising senior for the Tar Heels , was an All-Atlantic Coast Conference performer in 2005 while Hunt, a rising sophomore, recently won the 2006 Carolinas Women's Match Play Championship.
