The new Kennedy Meeks ? the slimmer-by-the-day, 263-pound forward who doesn’t mind stepping out to the perimeter ? isn’t all that different from the old Kennedy Meeks at UNC. From 60 lost pounds and one national championship gained to a strong start to his professional basketball career, Meeks is still fighting for an opportunity and respect that comes with it.
