Andrew Platek Finding His Niche at UNC

During the 2017 recruiting cycle a fellow college coach asked Roy Williams why he wanted Andrew Platek. Platek was ranked outside the top 200 and thus was not the normal blue chipper the Tar Heels pursue. "I offered him a scholarship because I thought he was a good enough player to play for us," Williams said on Thursday following UNC's 102-78 win over Portland.
