UNC’s final game was a microcosm of its season. The Tar Heels did everything they could in challenging circumstances, but their effort wasn’t enough to produce the result they wanted. “We just ran out of gas,” UNC coach Larry Fedora said after his team’s 33-21 loss at N.C. State. “The 11 guys that we put out on the field fought and gave everything that they had." (Inside Carolina)
