UNC's Perimeter Strength Falters Against Spartans

It came as no surprise that No. 9 North Carolina’s freshman bigs were overmatched in Sunday’s 63-45 loss to Michigan State in the PK80 Victory bracket title game. The stage was too big and the Spartans were too long and athletic for an inexperienced Tar Heel post to deliver an elite performance. What was surprising was the play of UNC’s veterans on the perimeter.
