Tar Heels’ defensive wave knocks out Tulane

Two starters didn’t score in the second half for No. 13 North Carolina on Sunday afternoon. The Tar Heels didn’t need such contributions in smooth start-to-finish romp past Tulane at the Smith Center. The 97-73 outcome was as much about defense as it was offense despite some notable numbers with nine North Carolina players scoring at least seven points. (Burlington Times News)
