The Tar Heels ran all the variations of the run-and-jump defenses, a combination of double-teams and heavy pressure once the ball passes half court. It is always a plus to run these defenses in real game situations, as the blue squad in practice always knows that it’s coming and gradually learns how to pick it apart.
