Julius Peppers making plays in Carolina — just like he did in Green Bay

Mike McCarthy sounded very much like a man who wished Julius Peppers was still playing for his team Sunday instead of against it. The Green Bay Packers coach waxed nostalgic about Peppers, a likely Pro Football Hall of Fame pass-rusher who spent three seasons with the Packers before the club chose not to re-sign him as a free agent.
