Wes Miller-coached UNC Greensboro shocks NC State 81-76

Francis Alonso scored 17 points to help UNC Greensboro beat N.C. State 81-76 on Saturday for the first time in school history. Marvin Smith Jr. added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Spartans (8-3), who rallied from a 14-point deficit in the first half. The Spartans, coached by former UNC guard Wes Miller, showed that they are ready for more success after posting 25 wins a year ago.
