North Carolina A&T, led by former UNC player and assistant Rod Broadway, wins HBCU national title


The North Carolina A&T Aggies finished 12-0 for the first time in their 93-year history. They’re the only MEAC team to complete a full season unbeaten since the league was born in 1971. They’re the only HBCU program to be 12-0 in the Division I-AA/FCS era. They’ve made history. “Our thing all season was we were chasing excellence,” A&T coach said. (Greensboro News & Record)
