Luke Maye might be one of the breakout stars of the 2017-18 season, putting up first-team All-ACC type numbers. But no matter how much he accomplishes, his place in Tar Heel lore will always be directly connected to that decisive 18-foot jumper in Memphis. It’s a shot that was chosen as the “Play of the Year” in North Carolina sports by the staff of the North State Journal. (North State Journal)
