NC State's Markell Johnson facing felony assault charge in Ohio


N.C. State sophomore guard Markell Johnson is facing felony assault charges in Ohio, according to court documents. Johnson, 19, was charged Dec. 5 and posted a $5,000 bail on Dec. 20. A pre-trial conference call for Johnson and three other co-defendants is scheduled for Thursday. Johnson started the first 10 games of NC State's season before being suspended indefinitely on Dec. 16. (WRAL Sports Fan)
