Referee Ted Valentine Turns His Back On UNC’s Joel Berry

Teddy “TV” Valentine, the biggest showman of a referee in college basketball, had quite the moment Wednesday with UNC star guard Joel Berry. Berry got held in transition by a Florida State player, but the referees didn’t see it, and it led to a turnover. When Berry made his way over to Valentine to talk to him about what happened, Valentine literally turned his back on Berry.
