Turnovers Doom UNC in Loss to Virginia

It wasn’t that No. 12 North Carolina committed a season-high 19 turnovers in Saturday’s loss to No. 8 Virginia. It was the makeup of each miscue, many of which hinted at inexperience from its underclassmen or a lack of poise from its veterans against a good defense. UNC, which has been proficient in turning defense into offense, did the exact opposite.
