Daniel Bard was a power reliever before they became the norm. But he wasn't just unique on the field. It didn't take long to realize the University of North Carolina product's thought process was deeper than most. Maybe that didn't help when trying to figure things out at the end, but it certainly wasn't a bad thing for those striking up clubhouse conversations. (WEEI.com)
