Is Wayne Ellington's offseason free agency already a Heat concern?
Posted Jan 8, 2018
With Wayne Ellington earning $6.3 million this season, the Heat would be able to offer Ellington a starting salary of about $11 million next season, which should lead to workable negotiations. Ellington also could wait one more season for full Bird Rights, after a third season with the team. Basically, if both sides want to make it work, there will be a workable path back to the Heat.
