Maye Day: Forward’s career night lifts Tar Heels


An inspired performance had skipping with energy and North Carolina bouncing back in a big way. Maye delivered career highs of 32 points and 18 rebounds as the 20th-ranked Tar Heels pounded Boston College 96-66 in ACC men’s basketball Tuesday at the Smith Center. The resounding victory, included a 58-23 domination in rebounding. (Burlington Times News)
