Montreal Alouettes release Darian Durant

Darian Durant’s time with the Montreal Alouettes has ended, the team announced Monday after releasing the veteran quarterback. The 35-year-old was acquired by the Als last January. Before going to Montreal, Durant spent 10 seasons with the Riders, guiding them to a Grey Cup Championship in 2013. In his career, Durant has thrown for 31,740 yards and 167 touchdowns.
