Maryland basketball lands Mississippi State transfer Schnider Herard

Mississippi State transfer Schnider Herard committed to the Maryland basketball program Saturday. A top-50 recruit in the 2016 class, the 6-foot-10, 260-pound Herard has yet to live up to his billing during his short time in college, but his size and upside give Maryland’s depleted frontcourt an intriguing piece for the future. He will have two years of eligibility remaining. (Washington Post)
