Hokies rediscover Cassell advantage in upset of UNC

Monday’s 80-69 upset of the No. 10 Tar Heels was different. From the time Chris Clarke’s 3-pointer gave Tech a 33-32 lead until the final horn, Cassell was formidable, indeed. The Hokies fed off that energy on both ends and produced their most significant victory of the season. The Hokies limited their turnovers, which in turn slowed North Carolina’s fast break.
