Defending ACC champion North Carolina is ranked ninth in the preseason U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association coaches poll released Tuesday. Coach Joe Breschi's Tar Heels will play seven of their 14 regular season games against teams ranked in the preseason Top 20 - Maryland, Duke, Denver, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Johns Hopkins and Hofstra.
