Tar Heels Collapse in Crunch Time

UNC committed five turnovers on its final nine possessions and missed a pair of free throws on another. N.C. State, which made 15-of-30 three-pointers for the game, cooled off in the extra period, missing six of their final eight field goal attempts. The Tar Heels’ inability to play efficient offense, however, allowed the Wolfpack to spring the upset at the free throw line. (Inside Carolina)
