UNC's Alle Sanford has been named the ACC Women's Tennis Freshman of the Week. Sanford, ranked No. 9 nationally in singles, was key in UNC defeating East Carolina, Davidson, Winthrop and Illinois last week. The rookie from Westerville, Ohio, took down 52nd-ranked Celia Ruiz of ECU and Davidson's Anna Feaster in No. 1 singles matches.
