Tar Heels respond with urgency in snapping 3-game losing streak

The defending national champions had lost three straight Atlantic Coast Conference games, something they hadn’t done since 2014. Only once since Roy Williams became UNC’s head coach in 2003 had the Tar Heels suffered four straight defeats, so there was a definite sense of urgency to halt the slide and get things rolling for the stretch run of the regular season.
