Mia Hamm remains a soccer hero to fans of all ages

Mia Hamm won four NCAA titles. She later became a hero to millions of girls around the country. Hamm was part of Women’s World Cup championship teams in 1991 and 1999. She helped the U.S. win gold at the 1996 and 2004 Olympics. Hamm, whose 46th birthday is next month, retired from playing soccer 14 years ago. But she still has plenty of young fans.
