Needless to say, UNC's players were excited following their 82-78 victory over Duke on Thursday at the Smith Center. UNC used a 23-4 run that spanned both halves to take control, they won the battle on the backboards 44-38, turned over the ball just 2 times, got six 3-pointers from Kenny Williams and an 18-point, 13-rebound effort from Cam Johnson.
