UNC tied a school-record with two turnovers and allowed only one point off turnovers. UNC and Duke were 1-2 in the nation in rebounds per game. Carolina out-rebounded the Blue Devils, 44-38. Kenny Williams tied his career high with 20 points, tied his career high with six three-pointers and tied the UNC record for 3FGs against Duke (with Hubert Davis in 1992).
