Most of his teammates were already on their way to the locker room, but Theo Pinson wanted to savor the moment. With the crowd roaring, the Tar Heel senior hopped up on the UNC bench, looked towards the student risers and yelled, clapping his hands and flexing in excitement. UNC had just defeated Duke, 82-78, to move to 18-7 overall and 7-5 in the ACC.
