UNC Receives National, International Recognition for Sustainability Efforts

UNC has improved its sustainability efforts the past two years, and it seems to be paying off. The university received recognition from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education, and from the University of Indonesia’s Green Metric. UNC was also recognized last fall by the Sierra Club’s ‘Cool Schools’ ranking for its work in sustainable initiatives. (Chapelboro.com)
