A stubborn stand by Roy Williams forces his players to win on their own
Posted Feb 11, 2018
Roy Williams stood on the sideline Saturday, staring down his own team as it gave up 19 straight points to the team he most hates to lose to. He refused to call a timeout. “I was really mad,” Williams said. “We needed to grow up.” UNC defeated N.C. State 96-89. Williams hopes his team learned a lesson but admitted he still has no idea what his team is doing right now.
