Flack, UNC slip past OSU to take 1-0 series lead
Posted Jun 25, 2006

It turned out to be good enough. With a rumble home and a headfirst slide, Flack put North Carolina within a victory of its first College World Series title as the Tar Heels beat Oregon State 4-3 on Saturday night in the opening game of the best-of-three championship series.
