UNC Softball Tops UCF in Extra Innings, Falls to Providence

North Carolina wrapped up the UCF Friends of Jaclyn Tournament with a 2-0 extra-inning win over UCF after falling to Providence, 2-1, earlier in the day at Soldiers Creek Park. Following Sunday's split outcome, the Tar Heels improve to 3-1 while the Friars and Golden Knights sit at 1-4 and 3-2, respectively. The Tar Heels return to action Wednesday at Elon.
