Tar Heels Meet Oregon State With National Title On The Line


North Carolina will square off against Oregon State in the best-of-three championship series of the 2006 College World Series beginning Saturday at Omaha's Rosenblatt Stadium. The Tar Heels (53-13) have won eight straight NCAA tournament games, while the Beavers (48-15) fought their way to the title series after losing their first game in the CWS. Junior left-hander will take the mound for UNC in the opening game. (Tar Heel Blue)
