Not Calling Timeouts May Be Stubborn, But It Also Works

Roy Williams and timeouts have basically been like oil and vinegar in the coach’s 30-year Hall of Fame career. Yet, he’s sort of become synonymous with them, though with a twist. Williams doesn’t like calling timeouts, even in seemingly dire situations. That’s actually no secret within the college basketball universe, and it's at times a thorn of contention for some UNC fans.
