UNC Sophomore William Blumberg Takes Over No. 1 Men’s Tennis Singles Ranking

History was made Tuesday , as UNC sophomore William Blumberg became the first Tar Heel men’s tennis player ever to rise to the No. 1 ranking in the ITA Men’s Singles Rankings. The runner-up in last year’s NCAA Singles Tournament as a freshman, Blumberg has quickly established himself as the most dominant force on head coach Sam Paul’s team.
