Titans' bunt-and-run backfires

Nothing came easy for . Well, almost nothing. North Carolina's junior right-hander grinded out six innings Wednesday night against Cal State Fullerton, allowing seven of his career-high 12 hits with two strikes. But as much trouble as Bard got into in UNC's 6-5 victory at Rosenblatt Stadium -- he allowed the leadoff man to reach base in five innings -- he was able to get out of it with some help from the Titans.
