Marie McCool scored 43 seconds into overtime to lift seventh-ranked North Carolina to a 16-15 win over top-ranked Maryland on Saturday (Highlights). The Tar Heels improve to 3-1, capturing their third win in a row after dropping their season opener in overtime at James Madison. Maryland saw its 25-game overall win streak and its 24-game road win streaks end.
