North Carolina’s Marie McCool Named US Lacrosse Player of the Week

Scoring the game-winning goal 43 seconds into overtime to lift No. 11 North Carolina over No. 1 Maryland, senior midfielder Marie McCool earns this week’s Brine/US Lacrosse Player of the Week honors. McCool also assisted Ela Hazar’s game-tying goal with 22 seconds remaining in regulation. McCool added two caused turnovers and a ground ball. (US Lacrosse Magazine)
