Miami, the statistically worst free throw shooting team in the ACC, went 12-for-13 from the line. North Carolina, on the other hand, shot 13-for-20. Five of the seven misses came from 90 percent free throw shooters in Joel Berry and Cameron Johnson. Johnson and Luke Maye both missed a potential game-tying free throw in the last two minutes of the game. (Armchair All-Americans)
