Two Hortons important to Tar Heels
Posted Jun 21, 2006
Josh Horton has scary hand-eye coordination that has helped produce a .409 batting average. He has enough speed that he's been caught stealing only once all season, and his right arm dispenses baseballs with vapor trails behind them. As the No. 3 hitter in the lineup and the shortstop in the infield, he gives North Carolina everything it needs out of those spots as it chases the NCAA championship at the College World Series.
