Cox Mill (27-3) will face Greensboro Smith (27-3) at 6 p.m. at the Lawrence Joel Coliseum in Winston-Salem. The winner advances to play in next week’s N.C. 3A state championship game in Raleigh. Cox Mill is led by 6-6 junior Wendell Moore and 6-8 senior Rechon “Leaky” Black. Black, who has a 6-foot-10 wingspan, can play and guard every position. He’s a walking mismatch signed to UNC.
